SAS shareholders vote to close Office
SAS shareholders have voted to close our office in order to cut expences and use the extra cash to contribute towards dividend payments. This vote was proposed by myself on Monday and voted on all this last week by e-mail and IM.
The turnout was very impressive- 84% of shareholder votes were cast.
The votes were as follows:
Yes (close the office and use cash for dividend payments) :215539
No (Keep as is) :0
Abstain (I abstained from voting) :202186
Next Week SAS shareholders shall be voting on a second motion regarding how our share buyback policy should be geared.
The Office space shall be converted into a Stock Exchange museum for the benefit of all ACE investors (and in fact investors of other exchanges too), which IntLibber has very kindly offered to cover the tier for.
