Merczateers Secures Third BNT Sim

Appledore, SL - Merczateers Tactical Forces, the preeminent military group in Second Life, with over 250 members, has secured a third sim for its growing military needs, from Brautigan & Tuck Holdings (ACE: BNT). Officer Kastrenzo Benelli has funded the sim, which will primarily function as a training and R&D sim, although it is currently the primary base while the HQ and combat sims, Badnarik and Salamis, are under complete renovation.

Merczateers have been headquartered in BNT's sim of Badnarik since January, 2007 with its combat no-mans-land, Salamis, being adjacent for the same period, and are considered both the best funded, largest, and the most technically advanced military group.

The most recent weapons system, the Air Divisions new attachment based Uriel air superiority fighter, is a light years leap in military ordinance. Producing 1/20th the lag of a physical sit vehicle, the new Uriel model looks like a stubby MiG-35, with Adder and Arrow missiles, 500 Lb bombs, and twin chain guns. The Uriel was built for Merczateers by IntLibber Brautigan and scripted by Nexii Malthus.
